Colour - Light - Expression - Sound

Throughout my artistic development colour has constantly gained in importance as a medium in my work. Today, colour is by far the most important means of expression at my disposal.

The fact that I have a natural predisposition for synaesthesia awakens endless possibilities in me. For me, music is colour, and colour is sound!

At different stages of my work, I am continuously driven towards one goal: - to arrive at colour and its inherent potential which only reveals itself in painting. Colour turns "colour sound" into expression. What drives me is the search for the immaterial, the mental vision, the life in colour itself. More and more I am detaching myself from the pathos of action, from gestural calligraphies and textures.
